The Liberty Coalition published the following press release about this breach, which is republished here for your convenience. The city references the location of the breaching entity, and not the location of this individual:
FREE COUNTRY, USA. On October 2, 2007 the Crazy Go Nuts University golf coach, who goes by the last name "Z," posted the names, Social Security Numbers, Dates of Birth, Addresses, Phone Numbers, Grades and other information for golf students on the university website. The personal information was contained in an Excel file which, according to the server, had been online since March 2004. Individuals affected by this breach seemed to be members of the CGNU Golf Club Team, and are at extreme risk of identity theft and fraud.
Coach Z insisted that he was not aware that he had posted the information online, and blames his former assistant, Biscut Dough Hands Man. The university took the information offline within hours, and the Dean of E-Admissions expressed his regret at the exposure.
